DMRC JE stands for Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Junior Engineering. It is a centre-state public sector company. Every year DMRC conducts examination for no. of vacancies in it & therefore the eligible students can apply for the same. The details of the examination are given below:

Eligibility: Those candidates who have done their graduation in any of the discipline like mechanical, electronics & communication, electrical, civil, etc. are eligible.
NOTE: Diploma holders in any discipline of engineering are also eligible>

Papers to be covered:
• Paper-1: Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, English, General Studies
• Paper-1: Comprehension, paragraph writing, essay and questions on science and technology matters.

Syllabus:
Paper-1:
Quantitative Aptitude
Number System, HCF, LCM, Simplification, Decimal Fractions, Ratio and Proportions, Unitary Method, Percentage, Time and Distance, Time and Work, Profit and Loss, Average, Simple and Compound Interest, Menstruation (2D and 3D), Algebra, Data Interpretation, etc.

Reasoning Ability:
It contains two sections: Verbal and Non Verbal
VERBAL:
Number & Alphabet Series, Test of Direction Sense, Coding-Decoding, Arithmetical Reasoning, Problem on Age Calculation, Blood Relations & Decision Making etc.

NON-VERBAL
Non Verbal Series, Mirror Images, Grouping Identical & Embedded Figures etc.
English:
Basics of English Language, Vocabulary & Grammar, Sentence structure, Synonyms & antonyms and its correct usage

General Studies:
Current Affairs (National and International), Major Financial/Economic News, Budget and Five Year Plans, Who is who?, Sports, Books and Authors, Awards and Honors, Science – Inventions and Discoveries, Abbreviations & Important Days, etc.

Paper-2: Syllabus includes all the basic Knowledge about the applied technical posts.

    • Candidates who successfully qualified paper I and got higher rank on merit list will only be evaluated for Paper II.
