HARAYANA CIVIL SERVICES are the backbone of the governance of the state. These services are highly competitive and challenging conducted by the government of Haryana for the recruitment for the personnel for administrative posts for example Haryana Civil Services(Exec. Branch), Distt. Food and Supplies Controller, Excise and Taxation Officer, Asst. Assistant Registrar Co-Operative Societies and many more. HPSC (Haryana Public Service Commission) is day by day changing the trends of the examination to augment itself with better tools to filter off intelligence to suit better for the job requirements. So the need is to tighten the belts at the right movement so as to cross the ambient cut offs laid by HPSC.


Educational Qualifications:

1. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: the candidate must possess a degree of a recognized university equivalent to the degree of Science, Arts and Commerce.
2. AGE: the candidate should not be less than 21 years and not more than 40 years.
The imperatives sought by all examination includes great sitting power, focused aim, inculcation on goal as civil services coupled with an expedient intellect to cover the major sections of the syllabus. Reading good text books, Magazines and Journals bring marvels to take upward swing in his mission.

HARYANA PUBLIC SERVICE EXAM PATTERN

  • (A) STAGE 1 PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION:
    This exam comprises of two papers i.e. of 100 marks each and 2 hours each.
    1. General Studies
    2. One optional subject to be selected from the list of 19 subjects.
    a) Agriculture
    b) Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science
    c) Botany
    d) Chemistry
    e) Civil Engineering
    f) Commerce and Accountancy
    g) Economics
    h) Electoral Engineering
    i) Geography
    j) Indian History
    k) Law
    l) Mathematics
    m) Mechanical Engineering
    n) Physics
    o) Political Science and International Relations
    p) Psychology
    q) Public Administration
    r) Sociology
    s) Zoology
  • (B)STAGE 2 : Mans/Written Examination
    Students who qualified in stage 1 are eligible to take the main examination.
    The main exam shall comprises of five papers as given below
    1. English (Including English Essay)-100 Marks
    2. Hindi( including Hindi Essay) in Devnagri Script-100 Marks
    3. General studies- 100 Marks
    4. Two optional subjects to be selected from a list of 23 subjects (150 X2 Marks)
    C. VIVA VOCE: 75 Marks We at NAM INSTITUTE prepare the individual to meet all the challenges posed by the exam. The classroom teaching is enriched with books, notes and updated material.   • Duration of the Course at NAM Institute:
    • Prelims only: 4 Months for students enrolled in Regular Mode (Mon-Fri) having 3 hrs classes daily while for those working professionals who can't attend classes regularly we provide weekend classes facility of 5 months having 5 hours classes on Sat & Sun.

    • Written (Mains) Exams only: 4 Months for students enrolled in Regular Mode (Mon-Fri) having 3 hrs classes daily while for those working professionals who can't attend classes regularly we provide weekend classes facility of 5 months having 5 hours classes on Sat & Sun.
