About IELTS:

There are two kinds of IELTS:
Academic IELTS: The Academic IELTS exam is the advance test to determine whether candidates are qualified to enroll in graduate and undergraduate academic programs where English is the medium of instructions.
General IELTS: The main aim of the test is to check the basic survival skills of candidates in social and educational contexts. It is a simple test for candidates who are applying for immigration and want to study at a non-degree level in abroad.
