IIMC stands for Indian Institute Of Mass Communication. This examination is conducted every year around May-June by IIMC which is an internationally known centre for training and research in mass communication registered under the Ministry Of Information and Broadcasting. This examination is conducted for the candidates who are willing to take admission in PG Diploma courses like radio and television journalism, advertisement and public relations, journalism (Hindi), journalism(English), etc.

Eligibility:
Graduates in any discipline can appear for this examination.
NOTE: Candidates who are in final year can also appear for the examination.

  • AGE LIMIT:
    1. For General category: The candidate should have born on 1-8-1991 or later
    2. For SCs/STs/PH: The candidate should have born on 1-8-1986 or later
    3. For OBC: The candidate shove have born on 1-8-1988 or later.
  • IIMC Exam centre:
    New Delhi, Lucknow (UP),Patna (Bihar), Kolkata (West Bengal), Guwahati (Assam), Bhubaneswar (Odisha), Bangalore(Karnataka), Mumbai (Maharashtra), Nagpur (Maharashtra), Aizawl (Mizoram), Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), Chennai (Tamilnadu), Jammu (J&K), Srinagar (J&K) and Kochi (Kerala).

    Examination: This exam is divided in two parts. First is the written examination and second is the interview section which a candidate takes after qualifying the written test

    NOTE: All the questions in the examination will be objective type.
    In order to give the candidates a bright future and helping them to overcome all the obstacles which they will be facing for this examination NAM INSTITUE OF PROFESSIONAL STUDIES works according to the below mentioned Performa:

    Duration: 3 Months
    Classes: 5 days in a week (Monday to Friday)
    Class Duration: 3 hrs/day
    For working professionals weekend classes are also available
    Duration: 4 Months
    Classes: 2 days in a week (Saturday-Sunday)
    Class Duration: 5 hrs/day
    Tutorial Fees: 20,000-25,000
