The State Provincial Civil Services Exams are conducted by the various State Public Service Commission in each respective states of India.

The exams are generally divided into Prelims, Mains (Written) & Interview (Viva -voce). Generally the max & min upper age limit is varying between 21 to 40 years for respective categories of candidates.

UTTARAKHAND Public Service Commission (UKPSC)

UKPSC conduct examination for Uttarakhand Civil Services/ Upper Subordinate Services (PCS).
Generally this exam is conducted every year. A candidate should have a Bachelor degree in any subject recognized by UGC. Age limit is 21 to 42 years for Unreserved category . Age relaxation for 3yrs to OBC and 5years to SC/ST candidates . Selection process of this examination consist of 3 stages; Preliminary, Main and Interview.

PAPER 1 - 150 MARKS
PAPER 2- 150 MARKS

  • Duration of the Course at NAM Institute:
    • Prelims only: 4 Months for students enrolled in Regular Mode (Mon-Fri) having 3 hrs classes daily while for those working professionals who can't attend classes regularly we provide weekend classes facility of 5 months having 5 hours classes on Sat & Sun.
    • Written (Mains) Exams only: 4 Months for students enrolled in Regular Mode (Mon-Fri) having 3 hrs classes daily while for those working professionals who can't attend classes regularly we provide weekend classes facility of 5 months having 5 hours classes on Sat & Sun.
    • Both Pre cum Mains : 8 Months for students enrolled in Regular Mode (Mon-Fri) having 3 hrs classes daily while for those working professionals who can't attend classes regularly we provide weekend classes facility of 10 months having 5 hours classes on Sat & Sun.

    Note: we provide residential facilities separately for boys & girls at reasonable cost. *New Regular Batch for Pre cum Main exams preparation is commencing from 11th & 18th January 2016 while weekend batch is starting from 9th & 16th Jan 2016.
    Tutorial Fees (for both weekdays & weekend batches):
    Prelims + Mains/Written Exams: Rs 60,000 (one Time) while Rs 65,000 (if paid in 2 installments)
    Only Prelims : Rs 20,000 (one Time) while Rs 25,000 (if paid in 2 installments)
    Only Mains: Rs 40,000 (one Time) while Rs 45,000 (if paid in 2 installments)
